This is a little late, but I have not had a chance to sit down and write this out until now. The 2021 AMHA World Show was quite an experience. Following Nationals so closely, it meant horses and humans were tired. Tomas especially was not thrilled, but managed some decent placings on youth weekend. In Open Jumper however, he tried his hardest and came through to win a very competitive class that included not less than four other multiple world champion jumpers.
Amigo was rested and ready to go the entire week winning his first World Championship with a Reserve in his first class, YOTE Country Pleasure Driving. He went on to add another Reserve in YOTE Geldings as well. He also placed 7th in a large youth liberty class and an extremely tough 13-18 Versatility class. In addition, he was Top 5 in YOTE Roadster, continuing to improve in that category. I am especially excited about showing him next year as he achieves more and more with each show. Below are the complete show results.
